We currently send parcels via DPD. Parcels sent with DPD require signatures, however, the customer can choose for the parcel to be left in a safe place once they recieve an email from DPD stating their delivery date. If the customer chooses for their parcel to be left in a safe place by the driver, the customer is therefore fully responsible for the parcel once the driver has delivered the parcel. The customer will also have the option to have the parcel left with a neighbour, rearrange the delivery date, change the delivery address, upgrade the delivery or collect from the customers local DPD depot.
Once your order has been processed and booked in for delivery with DPD, the customer will recieve an email stating their delivery date. On the morning of the delivery, DPD will email to inform the customer of an hour time slot of which the parcel shall be delivered.
If parcels have been attempted to be delivered three times, this will result in the parcel now having to be collected from the customers nearest DPD depot. In this case, we contact the customer to arrange redelivery. The customer will be prompted by ourselves to choose an option provided by DPD so their parcel can be delivered (e.g. left in safe place or left with neighbour).
